Wow the temp has dropped! I like cold weather, but I feel bad for the animals and homeless that have to endure it. I wish it wasn't quiet as cold just yet, but then again it's almost November! This last weekend was fun, lots of stuff with the family and relaxed. Jason and I have being playing the Wii a lot, we like the Price is Right and Wheel Of Fortune game! Reese likes to watch us play it as well. Reese has been doin so good with her numbers and learning. She really likes it and gets excited when she gets them right. Dallas has become little Mr. Fit thrower. Yes it's about that time , and well Reese has never stopped lol. Except Reese does like to help a lot more with everything and actually can be a pretty good help at times. The kids are going to stay the night with aunt Erin this Wednesday and they did last week too. The kids love it so much, especially Reese. She usually rents them a new movie they haven't seen. So mom and dad will get to watch the baseball game all by ourselves :). I always say to Jason " this is nice, and so needed. BUT I miss the kids so much in one night." It's tough to be away from them especially when you are a stay at home mom and don't leave them like ever! Lol But I did book the best suite available at wildhorse so Jason and I can have a fun night away. Was going to surprise him with Vegas for a night, but it's a lot of travel for one night. When your a parent and do get that time away, you want to relax! Super excited though, our room is amazing. It has a hot tub and wet bar in it and everything!
I love Halloween and all the shows but especially the little kids. They get so excited!
Trick or treating will be so much fun, Reese actually knows how to say it and is excited to go. We are doing treats on main and then some houses after all that is done. I love Halloween, hoping the kids have a good time.
Took the kids to costco the ore day and did some Xmas shopping. Surprisingly they were well behaved!!

Down...
4lbs this week! I'm happy to on my strict diet during the week, so on the weekend I can splurge on one meal! I've been eating a ton of eggs which are one of my favorite things so it's great! Also lots of protein and very little to NO bread or noodles. When we have pasta I substitute the noodles for brown rice, green beans and even squash. It is so good I love it. Last night had fajitas and it was so good, I just had two small corn tortillas which is 90 calories. The bell peppers, onion and steak were also very low in calories. I've been baking for the fall and sometimes it's hard not to eat the stuff but if you have a tiny but it won't hurt you at all. Realistically for me I love certain foods and it's never going to happen giving them up for my whole life. People don't understand you CAN have the things you want but in moderation. And sometimes you have to sacrifice to have those bad things :) you pick and choose. I made pumpkin pies the other day, which is a favorite of mine as well. Since I didn't feel like cheating on my diet we delivered one to my sisters and Jason took one in to work with him. I just love baking in general, and I have tried a lot of new recipes that turned out great!
I don't know if I mentioned but Dallas is addicted to The Lorax, Despicable Me and Wreck it Ralph. We watch those like everyday, along with Mickey Mouse and sometimes the Goofy Movie. They also love Super Why which has really taught erase a lot about her letters. Reese can count and knows letters but can't put them all in order just yet. She also it's really into coloring right now, which I love. It's fun to get her new books and crayons and markers.
We plan this weekend to carve our pumpkins, date night in, doggie costume contest, park, bake and watch football!

Love it
It tend to be so hard sometimes to leave our children, even with the very few we trust. So this last weekend Jason decided to start a new tradition that once a week he would make me a fancy dinner and try a new recipe. He has every other Friday off so he gets a three day weekend, it's perfect timing to have a date night in. I thought it was pretty sweet he wants to take the cooking load off me for a night, and he actually can make some pretty awesome stuff. So this last Friday he decided to make Seafood Mac n Cheese. It had crab, lobster and shrimp in it. It was so good and I def over ate. It wasn't healthy but it was sooo good, it tasted like something from a restaurant. I fed the kids at normal time and the, and put them to bed so we could eat along it was pretty nice! We don't eat out that much at all unless it's a date night and I love making new recipes so we sit down every night as a family and eat. It is a must in our house I won't budge on that. This next week I told him "healthier" please :)
I am starting a new diet this week, with a few health issues I've had come up I have actually gained a few pounds but know they will be easy to get off and it's only a few thank goodness. I also don't want to run outside in the cold this winter so I'm looking for a treadmill. This last weekend we went to the farmers mercantile in pasco with Courtney, Kendall and Kenny. They have so much fun stuff there it was a great time to get the kids out and about. Yesterday we were all so lazy, just watched football and hung out at the house all day.
Got our family pics back and I'm pretty happy with them, I love the ones of the kids so cute! Going to be printing them off and doing some framed ones to give out as well. The kids have been just growing growing and I'm so excited for the holidays with them! I've already started Xmas shopping and have a good jump on it for the kids. We already made Halloween cookies and will be carving our pumpkins this weekend. I can't help but bake this time of year, the good part is Jason takes it to work so it's not just a bunch of junk food sitting around. We let Reese pick out her own costume and she chose to be a witch, we haven't picked Dallas's yet.

The greatest time of year...
Fall in my book is the greatest time of year. I love it! The weather is awesome after a hot summer and it's the kickoff of the holiday season. I love Halloween, thanksgiving and my favorite Christmas. I love the movies, baking, dress up, warm clothes, layers, boots, leggings, pumpkin, gingerbread, turkey and all the rest. Oh yeah presents! I've already started for the kids so I'm hoping to get a good chunk done by thanksgiving. Jason so badly wants to go to Disneyland for Xmas but I'm wanting to stay home and enjoy all the traditional things. We are going to the pumpkin patch on Friday after Dallas's 1 year check up. Also have a softball tourney this weekend!
