Big girl!
Reese has been without a bottle for the last two days as well as she now is the toddler bed as of last night. She has been great without the bottle just her cup :) and she slept well last night in her new bed. It's so cute she goes in and puts all of her Minnie's and mickeys in the bed and covers them up. She also likes to jump in the bed lol. I am so proud of her, now we just need to hit the potty training hard but I'm going to give her a week or so with all the other new things going on.
Yesterday Courtney and I took took the kids for like a 3 mile walk. Reese was I. The stroller and I had dallas in the front pack. Dallas ended up falling asleep in the front pack on the way back so we put him in the stroller and Reese got to walk. Also I made some amazing ribs in the slow cooker, the meat fell off the bone and was so good.
I go to the gym every morning at 4:50 am and let me tell you this morning I was sore. After losing a good chunk of weight the gym has really helped me tone up and I plan to continue. Im happy with my weight loss but after having 2 babies I still have my pooch on my stomach to work on. I did however get some better sleep as Jason got up with Dallas and I got to get some rest, good husband award there!
Loving this weather, plan to be out in it with the kids today!

Good weather
So happy the last few days have been good weather! Hoping it sticks around because the kids are loving being outside and I do too. Dallas got to sit in the grass yesterday and he liked to feel it and pick it. Reese likes to do sprints in our backyard and play with all of her toys. I found an awesome play park around the block that has way more toys and stuff then the one that is just a few houses down. We will going to check it out soon!

YAY
For....good weather yesterday and with that allowing Reese to play outside in the backyard. Had a barbecue too, I made chicken, roasted carrots and roasted potatoes. Also after dinner took Reese for a walk and got to play for a little while just her and I . Also yay for losing 3lbs! Have been working out pretty hard so I'm hoping to lose more inches than anything but will take the -lbs. on Monday my sister came up and we took the dogs and kids to the dog park for a bit, glad the dogs enjoyed themselves. I am excited for Easter, hoping this weather sticks around. We are taking the kids to and egg hunt at the TRAC on Saturday and then doing our own hunt on Sunday with easter dinner too. Got the kids baskets all done.
Today we are starting Reese only on a cup and no bottle so it should be an experience she really likes her bottle, she never used a pacifier. But it has to be done.
Dallas is still not sleeping well but I am in hopes it can't possibly last too much longer!
Oh and Reese has become a dancer to most music, it's pretty cute.

Happy 6 months big D
Friday night we went out with a couple friends for dinner and had a good time :) but the rest of this weekend we have been spending family time. Saturday morning Reese and I went to pet over population walk with my sister. It last about an hour but overall Reese was good and enjoyed it. Spent the rest of the playing, Reese got a giant ball that she really likes. She was being a brat for a small amount of time yesterday, and I almost gave her a movie she got in her easter basket! It's harder for me to wait to give the kids gifts then it is on them lol. I DID NOT break down and give it to her thankfully.
Happy 6 month birth day to our awesome boy Dallas! When I pictured what my boy would be like, I never guessed him :) he is so much more than I ever could of asked for in a son. He is so funny...he thinks everyone is out to tickle him, he's a flirt, a picture ham, loves the Lorax and Mickey. He can't miss out on his sleep, is getting chubby cheeks, has the sweetest smile, the biggest eyes and is getting BLONDE hair, loves dogs and watching his sister. He is a mama's boy but I have no doubt he is going to be a little bad ass athlete. He is so strong and laughs 90% of the time. He brings a different tune to this little family, kind of like me is going to through a nice little mix here :) I am so proud to be his mom and I love this baby so so much! Here's to the next 6 months of laughter with this crazy baby!

The usual
Today is Monday and I usually hate them, just because Jason goes back to work and the kids tend to be cranky these days. Today hasn't been so bad, although Dallas has been sleeping terrible so I am tired. Literally think I may be ranging in the 4-5 hour of sleep per night. But as a mom you have to make the best of it and suck it up. Thank god for coffee. Started today out good, cleaned the whole house and started some much needed laundry all before 10 am. We also put up some easter decor in the windows. We didn't do much this last weekend, just spent time with the kids. We are going to have a date night this week, take the kids to get their pic with the easter bunny, get their easter basket stuff and outfits when we are out. Also on Saturday we are doing the pet over population walk. Well my sister and I are with the dogs. If its good weather I can bring dallas in the stroller too!
I am so badly wanting good weather, I can't stand it anymore!
So last week we watched that movie I think it's called "savages" not sure on that, but it was a crazy movie for sure. Def entertaining I guess but weird. Two guys sharing one girl, and like love too! Anyways weird. Hah almost forgot that same night, Courtney decided she would cook for Jason, I and Kenny. I already knowing Courtney can't really cook, given she hasn't really had time from her job. I have cooked for us a lot and Jason and Kenny too so it was her turn. So the guys were at Kenny's waiting while we were going to meet them there after our sitter got to our place so it worked out perfect. Courtney decided to make chicken Alfredo, ha from Olive Garden I mean! I decided to help her out and go in on the plan, I even brought over some of my casserole dishes so we could pick up the takeout and make it look messy enough to be believable. We picked it up, but really should if picked it up prior to getting ready so we could transfer it all at her place. So we did it in the car. Chicken Alfredo, salad and breadsticks. Made it look a little messy and headed to Kenny's. as soon as we walked in they were impressed but a little suspicious, I helped out a little by making up a few stories of the cooking process. Anyways ate the good food, watched the movie and actually the guys were nice enough to compliment her and thanked her. They knew the whole time but were nice, I mean she did go out of her way to prepare it all right? It turned out good. Needless to say its probably our turn to cook again next time, and I'm going to make her help :) so she can LEARN.
My mom stopped by last night to give Reese some easter pjs and to see the kids for a bit. Reese wanted her to stay and play in her little princess tent so she was sad when she left.

RIP TB
One year ago today I lost the most important person in my life besides my husband. My dad being gone has made me learn a lot. I had blogged earlier about today, but somehow it lost what I saved. I was mad at first but now thinking about it...there isn't much to say that I haven't already. I miss him and would give anything to speak or see him one last time. I know he wouldn't want me to be so unhappy so today I'm giving him that. No tears today, yes they will come as always but today I remember him and just cherish the times we had. I decided to do something I never do. I know after people lose loved ones they talk to them or even write to them like a journal!? Well I haven't wanted to do that and really won't ever want to. However I decided I will one time a year on this very day. It suits since we loved softball so much that I would make my little note on an actual softball. I plan to keep them all but only retread the previous years ball when I replace it with the next years ball. Probably will end up getting cases and shelving for them. Here's to my dad RIP TB no tears today buddy.

Friday night
It's Friday night and I am glad to be doing nothing but RELAXING. I am so thankful to not be sick after being for about 13 hours straight it was the WORST. Kids are in bed now and Jason and I are going to probably catch up on some shows and RELAX.
I woke up feeling so weak, but of course didn't rest with 2 little ones needing my attention, and I can honestly say I didn't mind it. Just in the amount of time I was cooped up in our bedroom away from the kids, I missed them. Getting up with Dallas was actually something I looked forward to, I love carrying him back to his crib after he drinks his midnight bottle. I was able to snap a few pics of him, I blinded him just a little :) I must say the weather also helped me snap outa the sickness too. We took a family walk tonight after dinner and it was good to get some fresh air. Though it does feel like summer weather will never come, then I will be complaining of how hot it is lol.
We are heading to an Americans hockey game tomorrow evening, should be fun. I am a bigger FEVER (the arena football team here) fan than hockey but will still be lots of fun. I have lost some more weight so I am probably going to cheat a tad on my diet tomorrow at the game! Nachos sounds sooo good, and it is sporting event anyways.
Here's the picture lineup for the past few days....also a couple from jasons cousins bday dinner i missed but looks like reese had fun! Think I love my kids much?? I don't think I could ever take enough pics of them. It's going to be so fun to look back on all these as they grow!
