Today is Monday and I usually hate them, just because Jason goes back to work and the kids tend to be cranky these days. Today hasn't been so bad, although Dallas has been sleeping terrible so I am tired. Literally think I may be ranging in the 4-5 hour of sleep per night. But as a mom you have to make the best of it and suck it up. Thank god for coffee. Started today out good, cleaned the whole house and started some much needed laundry all before 10 am. We also put up some easter decor in the windows. We didn't do much this last weekend, just spent time with the kids. We are going to have a date night this week, take the kids to get their pic with the easter bunny, get their easter basket stuff and outfits when we are out. Also on Saturday we are doing the pet over population walk. Well my sister and I are with the dogs. If its good weather I can bring dallas in the stroller too!
I am so badly wanting good weather, I can't stand it anymore!
So last week we watched that movie I think it's called "savages" not sure on that, but it was a crazy movie for sure. Def entertaining I guess but weird. Two guys sharing one girl, and like love too! Anyways weird. Hah almost forgot that same night, Courtney decided she would cook for Jason, I and Kenny. I already knowing Courtney can't really cook, given she hasn't really had time from her job. I have cooked for us a lot and Jason and Kenny too so it was her turn. So the guys were at Kenny's waiting while we were going to meet them there after our sitter got to our place so it worked out perfect. Courtney decided to make chicken Alfredo, ha from Olive Garden I mean! I decided to help her out and go in on the plan, I even brought over some of my casserole dishes so we could pick up the takeout and make it look messy enough to be believable. We picked it up, but really should if picked it up prior to getting ready so we could transfer it all at her place. So we did it in the car. Chicken Alfredo, salad and breadsticks. Made it look a little messy and headed to Kenny's. as soon as we walked in they were impressed but a little suspicious, I helped out a little by making up a few stories of the cooking process. Anyways ate the good food, watched the movie and actually the guys were nice enough to compliment her and thanked her. They knew the whole time but were nice, I mean she did go out of her way to prepare it all right? It turned out good. Needless to say its probably our turn to cook again next time, and I'm going to make her help :) so she can LEARN.
My mom stopped by last night to give Reese some easter pjs and to see the kids for a bit. Reese wanted her to stay and play in her little princess tent so she was sad when she left.
