Reese turned 4!!
Reese's birthday was sooo fun for her! She had a great time and was so happy with all her gifts. Chucky cheese??! Eehh don't think we will do a party there for a while. It's pretty hard trying to keep track of all 3 kids and visit with party guests. But it was sure fun. Reese also has been doing much better in soccer. She has scored a goal every game now and is starting to really learn how to play.
We have had such busy weeks we haven't even been able to stop. I have been steady with cakes, which is great. Slater has 3 teeth!! And is rolling all over the place. He also is saying "dada" "mama". He also is just a loud little guy. He's so chubby we have to buy new clothes a lot for him too. He's our crazy little guy, and always getting into whatever he can reach.
Dallas has been doing so good with his therapy's. I've also been getting lots of kisses from him which is so nice. I love it. Dallas loves to play on Reese's, which is a constant battle at times. He sneaks in there when she's not looking to play with her stuff. Sometimes they play great together in there, but other times not. We go back in a couple week's to check his prescription for his glasses. I am hoping they are right. But when he takes his glasses off he really seems like he can't see well at all. He has been doing more and more signing for things. Mostly the same signs but using it more. I am so proud of how well he has done with all the appointments and a busy schedule.
Today we get to have two guests in our house. Mya and Olive. Our dogs like it especially Bentley but Zoey gets a little jealous. Yesterday I hiked Badger Mountain with a friend and I am happy to say I did pretty good! I can't even believe Jason and I haven't gone there before. It's great and I hope to do it again. AND I am going to happy hour tonight at TWIGS with a moms group. Haven't really had time for anything like this, so I am looking forward to it. Besides work this week, I really hope to get the kids to the park, plan a date night in and catch up on a couple movies I have been wanting to see.

Finding the positive vibes
As I think about my terrible last couple of days I think I finally just hit the bottom. This is usually a good thing for me. Why?! Because you can only go up. It usually helps me find the positive answers I should of just thought about in the first place. It's really been a bummer couple of days. I will say that, but NOW time to move past it and look for some positive. I've said this probably in numerous blogs and Jason tells me I just care too much for others who don't return the same as well as I care too much about things that I just shouldn't. It's like I just wear my feelings on the outside and things are constantly hurting them. I know it's an issue of mine as well as I feel like I do need to do some changing of others who I seek an "active relationship" with. My version of active is just that ACTIVE. Not one sided and really can communicate back in forth without it always being about them. And in return I really hope I don't do that. If I do I really hope the person would just tell me. I have come to a point in my life I just really feel communication is key and am all about helping the situation. I know I constantly need to work on things and I am not perfect so if I truly have care for a relationship. I would hope both of us could come to one another. It's hard because I didn't grow up like that. I grew up if someone had a problem or just a positive recommendation..it turned into one sided defensiveness. It's really a hard thing to break away from.
We have a nice little line up of doctor appointment's for Friday. I also have a class tonight and some how have to work getting to the gym everyday for the rest of the week. I haven't weighed myself since Sunday and I am thinking I will weigh in again on Monday. Seriously hoping I have dropped at least 2lbs. My clothes are starting to fit better, but this has been such a slower but steady process. I have another 20lb goal by summer. I also have not even cheated once on my diet for 2 months! I can say that! NOT one cheat..really. I would love to cheat for our date night in on VDAY but it really just doesn't feel worth it at this point for me. Jason also has a 4 day weekend! I love that and I only have one cake/cupcake order for this weekend. It's a larger order but that's ok.

Baby Girl..
Reese is about to turn 4 :(. I haven't had much time to reflect on it and then just yesterday all the thoughts came to me. It's hard to even put together everything in the last 4 years. I remember her as a tiny baby. She was so serious and I worried she would never smile. Now she laughs all the time.
Sometimes I am sad she won't have a sister to share girl stuff with. I know she loves her brothers and they are all pretty close in age. This year she starts preschool too. I really need to take advantage of the time I have with her home. Once she hits kindergarten there's no going back from her being at school fully. Reese takes us to our wits end with fits and being a brat...but under that minor flaw we couldn't ask for a better daughter. She's so beautiful with her red lips and dark hair. I be sure to tell her that a lot. She's really been like a best little friend for me the last 6 months. She tries to help with cleaning, dallas, slater and whatever else when she wants to. She tells me "mom you have to smile" when maybe I have forgotten to in a day. She's different, I would say very unique. She likes odd movies for her age and she clings to things most wouldn't think of. Her dad has become her world with each passing day. If she didn't know he was coming home at the end of each day, I am not sure she would be so happy. Out of fear I think she probably will learn her lesson later in life for loving people so much and unconditionally. She will always be special for being Reese I know that. This birthday I'm not doing a huge party where everything matches and all that. Why?? Because I'm going to be hanging out with my daughter. I want to celebrate with her and enjoy all the fun she has been looking forward to. I am putting all my love into her cake that she has been planning for. I hope she has the best birthday ever.

Kisses
Yesterday while working on some stuff with Dallas he gave me 3 kisses on his own :). He's doing a really good of following direction too. We work on him sitting and being patient in his chair (so he can get the toy he wants back) and then he is rewarded. He knows to sit in his chair and make eye contact with me so he can get rewarded. Usually he lets me give him kisses but today he leaned in and made the effort first. It was so cute I loved it. He also was using really good signs for "up" and when I was at the gym Jason said he got some muffins down and pointed at them so Jason would get him one. He ate 2! Days are hard and I really needed just the littlest encouragement from the little guy. It was great.
Reese has been watching all the Transformer movies. She likes them a lot, and learning all their names. Of course she likes Bumble Bee the most. She says he's so cute. Reese also has been really liking wearing dresses. I bought her some new ones the other day and she literally throws a fit if I don't let her wear the dress she wants to. It's kind of nice to have her acting girly too!
Today I go in to get my heart monitor for 24 hours. Doctor wants to monitor it for 24 hours and go from there. I am hoping no further tests come up, I really just don't have the time for any doctor appointment's of my own. Yesterday at the gym I started running again. I mostly have been doing cardio to burn more calories. Yesterday after doing my cardio I jumped on the tredmill and finished up with a couple miles. It felt good, even though I am still out of running shape. Before Slater I was running 3-4 miles a day. Really working towards that again, but I am looking forward to good weather. I enjoy running outside and really look forward to when I can soon.
Oh and Slater is sure to be mobile soon. He just rolls around all over the floor. We are just waiting for that first crawl :)

Pictures!
Been a busy weekend and Monday morning! Here is my very first progress picture. -37lbs down to size 8 pants..clean eating and gym!
Perfect
On Friday after my cakes were picked up Jason had an awesome date night in planned. He had fresh crab legs, steak and veggies. Everything we could still eat on our diet! Also a new kind of wine I had not tried. It was so good, and really nice of him.
Also on Friday Courtney came and visited us and we got to catch up. Reese and her step-daughter Illaya got to play. They had a really good time so it was really nice. Her and I got to catch up and a few hours flew by like nothing. We got to do this everyday over coffee when we lived in West Pasco and she lived in Richland. I am hoping at least Reese and I can make a quick trip down there.
Saturday came along and Reese did very good at soccer. No crying over leaving, so we are really hoping it stays this way. Jason was really happy lol. The kids also got their pictures taken. We haven't gotten all of them back but I love how they have come out so far, and just how relaxed and easy she was with them. We got invited over for a birthday party on Friday so Reese can play and do crafts with her daughter.
I have an extremely busy weekend coming up with cakes! And I also have booked 2 wedding cakes so far for the summer. I am excited for those. Reese has been counting down the cakes until I finally tell her YES I AM MAKING YOURS. For whatever reason she wants a Hello Kitty cake. So that's what I am doing for her. I can't wait to actually make hers. It feels good to get to make your family a cake. Gosh most the time I don't even have time to make them cupcakes or send stuff to work with Jason anymore :(. But I am making a cute little cake for Reese and Jason this weekend. The father daughter ball is Friday so I am going to make a cute little rosette dress same color as her dress for them to enjoy when they get home. I still have to find some shoes for Reese to wear and Jason has to get a tie that matches her dress. She is super excited for it. I have cakes to do, but I am going to plan something special to do with Dallas during the time they are at the dance. I think its pretty sweet Jason gets into it and excited for the dance with Reese.
Yesterday we had such a lazy day. And it was so nice! We stayed home and watched the super bowl and that was it!
