In the past week and a half I have been so very busy! With softball practices, kids, husband and working out its been flying by. Reese has been talking more and more. Dallas is about to crawl, it's weird that he is already 7 months old. I start to think of him turning 1 and it scares me. He's my last baby and my baby boy!
Coaching softball issssss....fun???! Just kidding I enjoy it, but these are 12 year olds, we are starting from scratch here too. First game this Saturday. It's hard to ever hide my passion and competitive side. It's also just really hard to fathom playing this sport and not doing it the right way, the best way. I know they are learning, ,we don't get through things as quickly but that's because letting them do it wrong isn't an option so it takes extra time until they do. I'm ok with that. My husband turned 25 last Saturday. He thinks he's getting old. I tell him age is just a number. When you feel tired...DO something about it. There is lots of time for sleep later. Anyways we had a BBQ and it was fun. Friends and family...also Jason's cousin Kenny built this custom made beer pong table (dallas cowboys) themed. Turned out better than I expected, and Jason loves it.
Jason is off for a few days, it's been nice. Yesterday we went and had a picnic at Columbia park down by the water. Reese got to play at the playground down there, it was awesome. Had a BBQ for dinner :) then I was off to practice. This weekend we are going to go ride the trolly train that goes down by that park. Should be fun, Reese loves trains.
It's almost summer and I love that! Got a baby shower and wedding stuff coming up too! I can't wait for Courtney's baby :) when you see someone go through a whole pregnancy you feel a connection to it. Also excited I get to be a part of it at the hospital, I already have this vision of how little Kendall is going to look. Can't wait, it's a beautiful thing.
Today instead of going to the gym I went for a walk. Same walking route Courtney and the kids and I always do. It's pretty long but it's in a great neighborhood and fun to look at all the different houses and such. It was nice to get outside in the morning, it's nice out so it felt good. Still stopped by to get my coffee at Dutch bros. Coffee and tea are my saviors. Wakes me up and keeps me from eating bad stuff at times :) I had a little visitor this morning while drinking my coffee. Dallas was wide awake, and Bentley too!
